Chamaecyparis, a conifer evergreen, boasts a narrow conical shape that measures 1.9m to 2.1m when fully grown. This false cypress tree hails from the Western Hemisphere and prefers mountain sides and hills with fresh soil. It thrives in mild, temperate climates and is part of the larger Cupressaceae family. Despite its appearance, it does not belong to the Cupressus genus. These trees are primarily coastal species but can adapt to inland areas as long as temperature fluctuations aren't extreme.
