It thrives in moist forests and river banks with deep, fresh soil. The climate it prefers is mild, temperate, and cool. Before the Christian era, Scandinavians considered this tree sacred to their god Odin. They believed that burning Common Ash wood could ward off evil spirits, and that only a pole made of this wood could kill vampires. Today, the tree is cultivated for its highly prized wood. Model 1 is 32 meters tall, while Model 2 is 15.5 meters and Model 3 is 4 meters.
