The Baobab tree, a deciduous broadleaf, is native to Eastern Africa stretching from the Sahara borders to Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana. It thrives in dry hot environments such as shrubland, bushland, and woodland savannahs, coping well under mild, warm, or hot climates but not frost. Known by various African names like Mbuyu (Swahili), Ol-mesera (Maasai), it's a slow grower often found in open spaces due to its weak competitiveness. Despite this, Baobabs can also prosper in rainy areas with well-drained soil. These trees are incredibly long-living, with some reaching 2000 years old and able to survive total cuts and fires. Models available come in 12m, 14m, and 20m heights.
