My router was overheating quite a bit and the fan inside was not doing a good job when attempting to maintain high download speeds. I created this to go over the router/modem to keep it cool with a couple of 30 mm fans for a raspberry pi. Build of materials: Pi 5v fan: https://www.amazon.com/MakerFocus-Raspberry-Brushless-Connector-Separating/dp/B072FW3DDQ 12x2.5mm screws: I just used some that I had lying around. But these can be found anywhere. Micro usb board Know how to solder. Used a drill to make the holes for the screws. Put it on the router and screwed the fans into the print. They might be a little long but they went through the routers grill. Make sure to have the fans in a pulling orientation instead of pushing airflow in. Kept it quite cool until they replaced it with an XB7. Uploaded the Fusion 360 file so anyone can improve it.
