XFinity Battery Connector and 12V Adapter\ Socket Mount
thingiverse
Here is an adapter that lets you hook up to Xfinity 20V batteries, like the ones from ALDI cordless tools. You'll need two male spades (crimped cable terminators) which can be glued into the housing or welded into place with a 3D pen. To learn more, check out my latest blog post at teslaandi.wordpress.com/2019/09/18/if-people-just-designed-things-right-to-begin-with-4-more-power/. The rest of the parts you'll need are: A housing for a 16-24V to 12V DC to DC converter (this one had screws in a 40x48mm rectangular pattern), and A lid for the housing, which lets you fit a 12V DC socket (like a car cigarette lighter). I made this battery connector and socket so I could plug in my 12V inverter. That gives me a low power 240V AC power supply. I just happened to have all these parts lying around, except for the socket. You can find examples of crimped spades at jaycar.com.au/male-spade-red-pk-100/p/PT4512.
