Xeno-Species: Glimmering Fiends
pinshape
Summary A noxious cloud of smoke clung to the freshly excavated mine entrance like a malignant shroud. Beyond the darkness, an eerie glow materialized, as if ethereal sparks danced without warning of their depth. A faint flutter soon escalated into a deafening frenzy, and the glowing motes took shape, assuming features of bats, jellyfish, and ticks in equal measure. Their luminescent skin betrayed the pulsating rhythms of their bizarre internal anatomy. They shrieked with a cacophony born from beyond the stars, tearing, stinging, and biting until none remained to bear witness except the ghostly eyes of automated surveillance footage. I wanted to try my hand at creating some random alien creatures and was thrilled with these beings. They're designed in 15mm scale but could easily be adapted for use with any miniature range. Instructions Printed in halves and assembled using superglue. Painted with model acrylics.
