Xena Chakrams
thingiverse
These handmade chakrams were inspired by the ones wielded in Xena - Warrior Princess. Please note that the yin yang design is an integral part of each chakram, not separable from the rest. I took it upon myself to create these replicas because I wanted them to be uniform in size and have a thinner, more rounded outline than the commercially available versions, such as the Xena Chakram 1:1 prop. To achieve this design, I drew heavily from [Xena Prop Treasures](https://xenaproptreasures.blogspot.com/2014/01/comparisons-original-chakram-i-of-iv.html), which provided valuable insights for my creation. To create the dark chakram, I incorporated a mold that I used to cast fake paua shells from resin. The shells were painted with vibrant and glittery nail polish on their backside and attached before applying a clear coating to complete the prop. I opted against using real paua because it seemed like an impractical choice, as mentioned in this article [link](https://www.handitv.com/stories/xenas-charkram-was-actually-deadly). To prepare these chakrams for 3D printing, users will need to resize the STL files by a factor of 10 before slicing to achieve accurate proportions.
With this file you will be able to print Xena Chakrams with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Xena Chakrams.
