I needed to reverse the Y-Axis drag-chain's direction so I could wall-mount the X-Carve electronics, which would have meant extending all wiring and running it from the wrong end of the machine. Instead, all electronics now run to the back of the X-Carve unit, out of the way. To achieve this, I designed a new mounting bracket for the drag chain and an end-bracket that attaches to the X-Carve's rear rail. These mounts require no modifications to the metal-work or wiring, leaving stepper motor cable lengths unchanged. However, some longer or alternative bolts might be necessary for installation. The Drag-Chain mount wraps around another bracket, the X-Axis drag-chain mount, for added stability.
