Xbox Live Vision Camera GoPro Mount Adapter
thingiverse
I needed a camera for Octoprint on my C.H.I.P., so I found an Xbox Live Vision camera at a pawn shop for about $5. It works great in Octoprint, but I wasn't fond of the mounts that were available. This uses a GoPro style mount, so you should be able to print a way to attach it to just about anything. I'm using it for my MP Select Mini. The dimensions are slightly off on the tight side, but that's exactly what you want. When mounted in the one I printed, it's pretty easy to slide in and out, but I can't shake it loose. My test print was made from ABS, and it is somewhat bent, so you may have issues printing it in PLA. Print Settings: I printed this part in ABS. You may need to bend it too much for PLA, although I'm not entirely sure about that. It's a small part, though, so just give it a try. How I Designed This The file was made in FreeCad, which means it's parametric. If you need to change it for PLA, the FreeCad file is there, and all you'll have to do is adjust a few measurements.
