The Minimalistic Xbox Controller Stand by @agepbiz is quite nice. It offers a nice positive placement feel of the controller into the stand. It's also super minimalistic and perfect for modification. I was able to add slots for six AA batteries so gamers don't have to go hunting for batteries when running low.Keep your new batteries “+” side out, and put your empty batteries “-” side out. This way you'll know when you are running low. Keeping the batteries in the base adds “heft” to the part which keeps it from sliding around as much when you grab the controller. They fit just snuggly enough (15.0mm dia holes for 14mm AA alkaline batteries). I did not try rechargeable or lithium but if they are in AA-spec they should fit.The original design worked great for Duracell alkaline batteries that are 14.3mm in diameter. The AA-spec allows for batteries up to 14.5mm in diameter which would be “loose” for the Duracell alkalines pictured. This is may be the case with rechargeables. If you aren't using Duracell alkalines, consider measuring your batteries first.Updated 2024-07-26Based on comments from other makers, I've changed the hole size to 15.0 diamater, repositioned the holes so the walls close when printing in 0.3mm DRAFT mode, and removed the text from the first layer.Recommended layer height for a nice print: 0.2mm
