Power supply of first revision XBox 360 consoles is a great general purpose 12V power supply because it is very powerful (16.5 Amps), no grounding issues and the voltage is quite stable even for HAM radio use. I made a front panel that can be screwed to the front of the case. Then you can attach the yellow and black wires to banana plug connectors and the blue and red wire to a switch. The switch takes the PSU from standby mode to power on mode. The PSU has a green/yellow LED so I added a supported pipe which leads the light to the front of the panel. It does not very well by itself so it might be good idea to glue something into the pipe which conducts light. The lid part covers everything and snaps to the top of the case. It has air ventilation holes so the intake holes on the front of the PSU are not covered.
