XBOX 360 Controller Bottle Opener Attachment
thingiverse
Clips snugly onto your wireless Xbox 360 controller and makes it possible to open bottled beverages - mainly beer! Fits right over the battery pack. You can still use your headset/microphone as long as you're not trying to open a bottle at the same time. It's not perfect yet, since some extra pressure is required to actually open a bottle. I'm still working on it until it opens with no help needed. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them! By the way, here are the instructions for printing this: You can print me out with a MakerBot Replicator 2, and try to design it so it doesn't need supports. I couldn't make that happen though. When I printed mine, I used supports and rafts both, as well as a fairly high infill volume (about 25%) to help make it last longer. Just be careful when removing the support material - I got hurt trying to get rid of some on one of my prints. Try not to do the same! There are two ways to connect this to your controller: 1) Put the band around the top of the battery pack first, then pull the opener over the headset plugs. 2) Take out the battery pack, put the opener over the headset plugs, and then pull the band into place around the battery, and put the battery pack back in. The second method might be less likely to break your print, but the first one is a lot faster and more convenient.
