Xbee Enclosure
cults3d
This is another Xbee enclosure I designed to hold my Xbee 3 Pro. The Xbee part number is XB3-24Z8ST. I made this to accommodate the Xbee 3 Pro with the fundino explorer boards found on ebay. (I have the link below). There's also another cheap explorer board on Ebay that is similar, and should fit, however I have not tested it. There are 4 small holes in the sides of the box, you can push a paperclip in to release lid if it's tight. My printed model pulls apart rather easily though. I also put a small countersink in the bottom to accommodate a 10mm dia. x 3mm thick Neodymium Magnet for magnetic mounting. Just put a dab of super glue on it and stick it in. The fundino explorer boards are much cheaper than the Mouser Sparkfun explorer boards, that's why I used it. Just take some wire cutters and cut off the leads on the side of the board for the FT232 connection. There’s also a through hole at the bottom of the box so that if needed, you could push out the magnet. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Funduino-Xbee-Adapter-Bluetooth-FT232RL-USB-to-Serial-port-module-for-PC-Arduino/141769706046?hash=item2102220a3e:g:JRAAAOSwWnFV7~I6 You Agree to download these Files under the following terms: Attribution/Non-Commercial/No-Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
