XBee Cellular XBIB Dev Board Case
thingiverse
The dev kit for the XBee Cellular comes equipped with the module, XBIB dev board, and a couple of antennas along with some necessary cables. I needed a simple case to store the dev board and antennas, making it easier to transport them and prevent the antennas from simply sitting on my desk unsecured. I'm confident that keeping the antennas in close proximity is not ideal from an RF standpoint, yet I didn't notice any signal degradation compared to when they're free-standing. I specifically tested this setup with an XBee Cellular Verizon LTE Cat 1 dev kit I had (XKC-V1T-U, available at https://www.digikey.com/short/jm2npj), but any kit using the same revision of the XBIB dev board and antennas should work just fine. The case features holes that align perfectly with the holes in the antennas. You can insert a small bolt and nut to secure them in place if desired. As long as you're not turning it upside down, the antennas will stay put without needing any bolts.
