I conceptualized this style of SMA mount approximately four months ago and have since been modifying it for various frames, including the Xbee X v2, my own Viper frame, and several others. This design allows the antenna to be positioned at its optimal angle, thereby preventing obstruction by gates or entanglement with branches. Additionally, due to its TPU material composition, this SMA mount enables the antenna and SMA to flex during crashes, thus protecting the VTX from damage and the antenna from breakage. I've dubbed this SMA mount type "Hitcher Style" due to its resemblance to how thumbs are extended when the SMA is mounted. To print this design, use TPU at a 30% infill rate with three shells for the bottom, top, and sides.
