XaviCube 3D. A FDM 3D printer designed for educational purposes is being developed as a final project. The goal of the project is to build a high-volume printer with fast printing speeds and the ability to print any type of filament available in retail stores. Key features already achieved include: * A Cartesian kinematic system housed within an aluminum cubic structure. * 24V electronics, including a 24V power supply and an Einsy rambo board. * NEMA 17 stepper motors. * Octoprint connectivity with Wi-Fi and internet capabilities via a Raspberry Pi4. * A heated bed with a maximum heating capacity of up to 1400W at 220v. * A hotend capable of reaching temperatures of up to 350º with a 50W power output. * A 0.4mm brass nozzle. * An effective printing area measuring 320mm x 340mm x 290mm. * Printing speeds of up to 60/80 mm/s (maximum: 100/120 mm/s). * Auto leveling capabilities utilizing an 18mm inductive sensor. * Customized Marlin 2.0.x firmware. * Support for a range of printed materials, including PLA, PETG, NGEN, ABS, and ASA. Currently under development are: * Maximizing the printing area. * Implementing mesh leveling configuration. * Multimaterial capabilities. * Sensorless homing functionality. * Steel-hardened nozzles compatible with various filaments (e.g., nylon-carbon, wood-filament). * A HEPA 14 filter integrated with a carbon fiber mesh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oC1O632gjw&t=99s
