Xanes DL06 longboard mount
thingiverse
The old light worked amazingly well until the leaves started falling and the wind blew small twigs onto the road, making me crave more light to extend my reaction time. I discovered this new light, and it performs impressively. This bike light is incredibly bright! However, I had to modify the inner workings of the flashlight because it produced too much noise on brick roads. To resolve this issue, I wrapped cloth around the lithium batteries inside the light. Be cautious when replacing them, as there's no polarity protection, forcing me to purchase a new one. Additionally, this light can be charged while still mounted on my longboard. The mount is cleverly designed at an angle to avoid blinding incoming traffic. Initially, I printed the base with 90% infill, which worked remarkably well. However, using a 30% infill allows the printed holder to adjust and press itself onto the screw holes effectively, still functioning great. I'm unsure if I used a shorter screw, but I'm not certain whether the supplied one will fit. As an aside, I abused my board a bit, causing it to break the holder at one point. In response, I designed a sturdier holder and added it as a version 2.
