Xaar and his fellow Zyntari Combine prospectors arrived at Nexus City to evaluate its worth for invasion purposes. Xaar quickly developed a fondness for the unusual city and its vibrant inhabitants, which led him to drift away from the imperial creed. He decided to stay in Nexus City and established his own robotics repair shop, where he provided services to paying customers who needed transportation through the local Omnisphere - a skill he had mastered during his time with the Combine.
