To build a formidable drone, you will require several essential tools, including a CNC machine, a 3D printer, a drill, and a soldering iron. Further instructions on assembly will be provided later. I set out to construct an exceptionally robust drone that could withstand strong winds and carry a payload equivalent to its own weight. Hardware: 1 x Pixhawk 2.1 1 x 3DR GPS 1 x 915 MHz Telemetry Receiver/Transmitter 2 x Sky III Quattro 4in1 ESC 8 x SunnySky Angel 800 KV 2820 Motor 2 x 8000 mAh 4S Zippy Battery 1 x 1000 mAh 3S Zippy Battery 1 x FPV 3-axis Gimbal (http://www.banggood.com/FPV-3-Axis-CNC-Metal-Brushless-Gimbal-With-Controller-For-DJI-Phantom-GoPro-3-4-Only-180g-p-1030046.html) To begin the post-printing process, assemble the legs. This involves attaching the CNC legs, battery plate, and gimbal battery plate connector pieces together using 25 mm M3 machine screws. Post-Printing Instructions: 1.) Place the battery plate between the set of legs, ensuring that the notches fit snugly into the cuts on the legs. If necessary, file down one or both until all four notches fit tightly. 2.) Insert 8-inch threaded rods through small holes in the legs, securing them with nuts and lock washers. The gimbal-battery plate connector pieces will attach to the middle two rods directly under the battery plate. 3.) Feed the 1/2-inch aluminum rod through the holes at the bottom of the legs, twisting it back and forth to guide it through safely. 4.) Attach the 1000 mAh battery holder to the legs using 25 mm M3 machine screws. Insert a velcro strap underneath and feed the screws through the battery plate. 5.) Apply the black metal plate that came with your gimbal, ensuring it has four holes that match up with the screws in place. Use lock nuts to secure everything together. 6.) Attach the Leg Chassis Connector piece to the top of the legs using 16 mm M3 screws. This piece should have four holes facing up and matching the chassis. 7.) Add the 4S Zippy batteries on each side of the 1000 mAh battery holder, securing them with velcro straps. Legs Complete!
