A few redesigned components replace those originally supplied with the machine. New Z bottom mounts feature extended bosses to accommodate 8mm rods. The new Z top mount boasts extended bosses and a recess designed specifically for a plain bearing. Updated Y motor mounts now include an additional side feature for extra screws. X motor mounts have been revamped, not only incorporating a side feature but also elevating the X motor to prevent pulley stress caused by its previous placement at the end of the spindle. Except for two 608 plain bearings used in the top Z mount, all fasteners are reused.
