Complete Rod, Stepper, and Flat Bed Support System for Stiffer Z Setup. To install this system, you'll need 24 M4 x 10 screws and 24 M4 - 2020 T-Nuts, along with four 8mm x 16mm or similar pieces to clamp the lead screw together with the flat plate in the middle. I recommend securing the z steppers with M3 x 45 screws, as factory lengths may not be sufficient. Installing these will provide added stability and peace of mind. For printing, I used .2 layer thickness, 20% infill, and three wall layers, resulting in a solid structure. On the bottom mount, I printed five top and bottom layers to ensure the middle part is a single piece of plastic. You can use this system without the bottom stepper stiffeners and rely on factory bolts. However, I opted for a timing belt between the steppers to eliminate any play or movement. If you're using a belt between steppers and plan to install this z system with pulleys on the steppers, this design should fit perfectly. I've since added a second top support with a larger middle hole, addressing concerns about lead screw bowing and potential rubbing issues.
