Your printer must already be incredibly precise These fittings are push-lock designs. Want to keep the weight of your heavy bed off the motor bearings? Want to relocate the load to a more suitable spot? No worries! Thrust bearings are available! I used two 16mm x 5mm x8 ID thrust bearings. Screws are an option. The motor cap/base fits snugly, as does the bearing cup. Place the cup on the motor, and position the bearing cup in its recess with the cup facing upwards. Insert the thrust bearing into the cup (apply grease first). Mount your Z coupler on top and press it down firmly. Fasten it to the motor shaft while pressing downward. I recommend installing these on a stable surface to prevent bending the 2020 profile. Bam! The load is now transferred to the motor case, which is significantly stronger than the motor bearings.
