Here's My Approach to Improving the X5S Heat Bed Performance. 1. Insulate the Heat Bed. 2. Add Power MOFEST Bed Control. 3. Increase Bed Power from 12 Vdc to 21 Vdc. 4. Optional: Add 24 VDC LED Light Strips for Stage Lighting. Add a Digital Volts/Amps Meter to Monitor Bed Operation. Details of Above Are Found in the Attached PDF File. Caution: Use Heavy Gauge Wiring Throughout Bed Circuits to Avoid Hot Spots, Failures, and Fires. Make Sure All Wire Terminals Are Properly Attached, All Screw Terminals Are Tightened, and All Wire Junctions Are Solid.
