X5S Filament Holder (with original screws)

Hello! I'm having some issues with certain filaments that break after a few weeks when I try to put them back into the extruder. The problem arises when I don't use the filaments; they get stored in plastic vacuum bags. To minimize filament damage, I've made my filament path from the spool to the extruder as short as possible and without exceeding 0 degrees. The next version is a bit longer but still within reason due to z-axis and heatbed issues. It's quite easy, yet effective! You can use your original screws, print a quick replacement, and be happy! UPDATE: Holder_V4 is the latest file (some lines are now at 45 degrees for better printing). I've printed and used this nice filament holder with ball bearings 608 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3020026), but it's too easy that the filament rolls out from the spool after several retracts. I'll try this again without 608'. ------------------- Hello, I've modified the original holder due to recent issues with two filament spools. The filament broke when trying to thread it back into the extruder and also knotted at a short distance before the extruder. My idea for this new holder is to keep the filament as close to the same radius or at least not exceeding 0 degrees when bending. However, since the spool is mounted too far back and the original holder can't be modified, I've created a simple new one to move the spool forward. This version still leaves about 5 mm of space between the spool and the heatbed. In the next version, I'll try to utilize this space as much as possible without making the print too complex. I printed it in Janbex transparent PLA. The original screws will be used: 4-12 & 8-100. UPDATE: The current file is 'Holder_V4' (a few corners have been changed from round to 45 degrees for better printing). Print settings: Cura 4.0 beta, PLA, 0.2 layer thickness, 0.3 width, 30 infill octet, 4 walls, 185 / 50. Greetings!
