X580 battery tray

This is a new thing in series for the Hobbyking X580 quadrocopter. Designed to fit the Zippy Compact 4000 mAh battery, I created the battery tray. The tray should be mounted upside down with support rings on top that slide onto two 12 mm carbon tubes of the frame. Positioned below, the Velcro and/or hook and loop will secure the battery in place. Two additional holes are included for screws to attach the tray to existing frame parts (clips holding shelves on tubes). Assembly requires six M3x8 screws with countersunk heads and four M3 nuts. For those who want to adjust the tray size, I've included a SCAD file. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% or more Notes: A brim of five lines can be used for support rings. I printed the support rings from ABS and the tray from PLA. Post-Printing Assemble the parts together and attach to the X580 quadcopter.
