X56 and x55 comfort kit and VR helper
thingiverse
I designed X56 and x55 comfort kit and VR helper when I got a new controller. My hand was too low to reach the top hat switch and the top button on the joystick, making it difficult to see the buttons in VR. To solve this problem, I created a set of 4 size hand raisers: low, mid, high, and very-high with cut-out slopes so you can still access the pinky button. I also encountered an issue with the top button on the joystick being lower than the hat switch's bottom left position, making it hard to reach. Additionally, the top right hat switch was another challenge. To address these problems, I crafted raisers that bring these buttons within easier reach. The top right hat will clip on but may require glue; I used UHU Por glue as it is easier to remove if necessary. There are also two C-clips for F and G that attach around the rotory switches with a notch sticking out so you can feel where the switch position is.
