X55 HOTAS Desk Clamp

The lack of good joystick mounts was a major headache for me, so I took matters into my own hands. This mount is specifically designed for the HOTAS X55 Joystick and Throttle and can be comfortably set up on a desk that's 25mm thick (~1in). However, it could easily be modified to fit a thicker desk if needed. I've included the Fusion 360 file so this can be done with ease. Since the X55 joystick and throttle share the same base body and size dimensions, the print design for this mount can work for both joysticks. The clamp consists of two parts: The Spine and Clamp Body. These need to be welded or glued together. I divided them into separate parts mainly so smaller printers could print each part individually and also to test tolerances. The clamp body and spine are threaded to accept the bolts from the files. The joystick bolts measure ~7mm m10X1.5, while the desk clamp bolts measure ~10mm m10X1.5. Tolerances for the bolts are quite tight and will need to be adjusted depending on your printer and how snug you want them in the joystick itself. I haven't tested this print yet, but I'm eagerly waiting for my Mk3 to arrive!
