I required a compact receiver mount for my quadcopter build that was constrained by space. This design fulfilled my needs. It stands 8mm tall and securely holds a de-pinned FRSKY receiver in place. A corner slot accommodates the smart-bus wire with ease, and I've included a lid to address PDB's with errant pins underneath. 8mm hexagon standoffs press fit into the reliefs, allowing you to safely sandwich your receiver beneath other electronics. It functions perfectly. I chose to pot mine, but it will remain secure regardless of whether or not glue/epoxy is used. The holes in the thin model are slotted to accommodate different antenna PCB locations between receivers, and I'll add a model specific to the X4i receiver later. The D4R model is ready for use.
