The independent study project I undertook involved creating a quadcopter model with a Turnigy X450 carbon frame, powered by Turnigy D2822 motors and DJI 10" carbon props. The flight was controlled by a Multi Wii SE 2.5 flight controller, and the power source consisted of two 5,200 mAh Li-poly battery packs. Q Brain 4 x 25 A ESCs were used for motor speed control, while Turnigy 9X RX/Tx controllers handled radio communication.
