X3D XL COREXY Dual Z
thingiverse
Remix allows the use of two carriages on the Z-axis. This gives me confidence in Z-axis motion, better print quality and an additional 28mm working area on the Z-axis. You will need: 1. An additional stepper motor connected to a free space in Ramps (Ramps have two slots for the Z-axis) 2. Two 334mm length 8mm rods 3. Two 234mm and two 335mm aluminum angle bars, 20x20x2 mm in size 4. A standard plastic element from the original printer design 5. Two dual_z_carriage.stl files (I sliced them in Slic3r because for example Cura has problems with this design; I have not checked other slicing software) 6. M3 screws 7. A plate to insulate the bottom of the heating bed, such as a corkboard
