thingiverse
Tired of all the quad designs I've tried, I built a simple, medium form factor X quad for 6-7 inch props and 22XX motors.\nI've updated this design for an optional larger battery and more ground clearance with the legs.\nTo build you'll need:\n2x plate.stl\n4x arm.stl\n1x top.stl\n1x batt.stl for 2200mah, batt2.stl is for 3000mah batteries\n4x Legholder.stl\n4x leg.stl or leg2.stl for more clearance (recommended)\n1x Board cam holder.stl (optional for FPV)\nhardware:\n16x m3x25 bolts\n8x m3x10 bolts\n8x m3 metal spacers (height dependent on FC used)\n4x m3 nylon spacers for FC\n4x m2 nylon spacers for FPV cam\n8x m3 locknuts\n8x Zip ties\nMy build Suggestions:\n2205-2208 motors capable of spinning 6-8 inch props. (Emax MT2208 or RS2205 ect.)\nLittlebee 20A ESCs\nAny Flight Controller utilizing CC3D/NAZE32 size.\nGPS (optional)\n1800-3000 mah 3s-4s battery.\nCamera and vTX of your choice, standard board cam mounting\nPrint Settings:\nResolution: .2-.25 for best strength\nInfill: 30% with 3 perimeters for the body, 60-100% for the arms and leg pieces.\nNotes: Print this in ABS or PETG, PLA is too brittle and heavy to be effective here.
