x2 Spool with Built in Bowden motor mount
thingiverse
This is an update to my bowden spool, which now accepts spools with ease. Simply drop in a spool, load the filament and feed it through to the hotend. I've been using this for about 8 months and it works without any issues. The spool rests on top of two rods that ride on bearings for smooth operation. It comes with a mount for any Printrbot Extruder and a bowden adapter. You'll need 4 standard 608 bearings, a number of standard hex head screws and nuts to assemble everything. It's better to screw it all together for added stability. The old version is available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:561092. This one uses an axle instead of rollers for even smoother operation.
