X2 Elf hardware kit
thingiverse
A hardware set for X2 Elf frame is available. See the rotorbuilds page at https://rotorbuilds.com/build/9868 for more details and pictures. The camera pod has been tested to fit Runcam Micro Swift and Runcam Micro Sparrow cameras. The Swift is longer than the Sparrow, so there will be even less clearance due to connectors at the back. The camera uptilt is 25 degrees. The pod gives enough clearance to run 2 inch props such as Gemfan 2035 four-blades. Update: an alternative Runcam Micro Swift/Sparrow pod with 15 degrees uptilt has been uploaded, as well as the one for Caddx F1 cameras, also 15 and 25 degrees uptilt. The rear spacer is designed to carry a 9mm buzzer and has notches for a cable tie to hold power leads and an antenna in place. Use M2 steel screws and tap parts with screws before assembling. Make sure bottom screws holding the camera pod are not too long, maximum 5-6mm, otherwise you might ruin the camera by making contact with the PCB at the back. The VTX plate is designed for Eachine VTX02/03. Use a double-sided sticky foam pad to mount the VTX. You can access the button with some pointy object. Make sure you don't short anything inside if the object is conductive. If you print this, please consider posting a make. I enjoy seeing things I designed out in the wild.
