X/Y Calibration Test Sheet
thingiverse
A printable paper sheet aids in checking X/Y steps per millimeter settings. With 12 lines at 0.5-degree increments, alignment precision isn't crucial; just tape within six degrees of square. Position the non-test axis until you find a parallel line to the test axis and move on the perpendicular control axis. Cut the 5" x 5" grid and adhere it to your print bed for calibration verification. Lines at the top should be 1cm apart, as should tick marks on each line. A 10mm movement should bring you to the next tick mark if calibrated correctly. Rotate 90 degrees and repeat from step five to test the other axis.
