X-Wings D13 Dora - World War 2 Style

thingiverse

These are remixes of <b>Rufian's AWESOME</b> World War 2 X-Wing concept. His model somehow featured over 2,000 shells - I suspect each rivet was counted individually. I corrected the shell issue and created two versions: one with an original long nose and no landing gear, and another with a short nose and no landing gear. On January 27th, new models from Rufian were uploaded, featuring smooth skin. FDM Printers can now print V2 versions with smooth skin. The rivets may result in poor shell quality on FDM prints. However, SLA/DLP printers might handle the design better. I fixed the shell issues and removed the landing gear. Both long nose and short nose models are available. The machine guns on this design may not print well on FDM printers. A V3 version has thicker machine guns that should print successfully. Rufian recently uploaded a smooth body model with no rivets, which can be found through the remix link.
