After a brief disagreement with the Imperium, I managed to hang those neat little ornaments on the back of our Christmas tree. These two classic space fighters are designed to snap together seamlessly. I cut them from 4 mm beech plywood and gave them a golden coat using spray paint. Since there are no holes for attaching a string, you'll need to drill them in suitable locations. If you want to cut these ornaments on a laser cutter, make sure to set the laser to engraving mode on the segments of the TIE-fighter's wings. I added a postcard-snapout version of the X-wing, which hasn't been tested yet. Hopefully, Santa brings some kind of printer so I can give it a try.
