X-Wing Template and Card Holder

A unique blend of existing concepts, refined and updated to meet specific needs. As of April 17th, 2018, a second template holder design, templateHolderTight, has been introduced. This version boasts narrower slots, reduced by 1.75 on each side (a total reduction of 3.5mm overall). While I haven't printed one yet, makeprintable assures me it's ready for use. At the heart of this system lies the movement template holder component, which also features a slot at the back for your range stick (visible in pictures 2 and 5). Two card holder pieces are included: one for standard cards and another slightly larger version designed for cards with protectors. This accommodates players who prefer to handle their cards safely. A small connector rod connects these two parts together. Please note that you'll need to sand this piece down to fit snugly into the bevel on the main components' underside (as shown in picture 4). This addition provides extra stability by distributing weight evenly across the system. Alternatively, you can use the template holder alongside just the connector rod protruding from the back as a stabilizer (pictured in image 3). While its necessity is debatable, some players at my local game store have mentioned its effectiveness. It works, after all.
