Summary: I've had this toy since 1997, but its S-foil lever was so weak that it snapped easily. With my newfound ability to design and measure things, I created a heavy-duty lever that completely fixed my X-wing after 18 long years. This might be helpful for you too, as the new lever not only strengthens the S-foils but also allows them to open wider in a balanced way. Instructions: To implement this fix, start by taking apart your X-wing, removing the original lever, and replacing it with the heavy-duty one I designed. Once that's done, simply reassemble everything and you're good to go.
