X-Wing Movement Dials
thingiverse
First time tackling design work. Dials print in three distinct pieces, with five pegs included. Customizing the front and back involves simply dragging ship names onto the disc. If you opt for cut-outs, subtract the name image from the disc image - some letter modifications might be necessary. Still experimenting with peg fitment; they can sometimes be too snug, so testing is a must before use. Bottom side of each dial is secured to the outer rim using super glue, and the top fits neatly in place. Future adjustments may lead to a glueless snap-fit. Beginner with 3D design, eager for suggestions. Rebel faction project underway. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.14mm Infill: 15% Post-Printing A single coat of paint was applied, airbrushed to preserve detail. Light drybrushing followed for added texture. For Scum & Villainy, the piece was propped upright and multiple washes were applied.
