!SHIP INCLUDED! You will find numerous storage solutions for these teeny-tiny ships out there, but I was after something that would enable me to tote only one ship (or two at the most) as opposed to always having to carry an entire container with me. Latest updates: 14/6/17 - The original Sketchup file has been uploaded for all these containers. Feel free to use it any way you want. As of now, I've included containers for: Y-Wing Tie Bomber Decimator TIE Defender E-Wing Scum Faction logos Phantom Ghost K-Wing Starviper Mist Hunter I've also designed Pilot and Damage/Upgrade card boxes in the same style, you can check them out here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:755733 Instructions Print as positioned; they should fit on any type of printer since they are relatively tiny. My printing specifications include: PLA, 0.15mm layer height, 1.75mm filament The Logos on the Lid: These logos get printed separately, and then just glue them onto your containers afterwards (or not if you like!) The Hinge: You'll need some filament to use for the hinge pin. A good trick is to use a lighter to heat up one end of it until the part inserted into the box bulges out so you can keep it in place. However, I should mention that after months of using this method, my hinges often snap, as the filament tends to get brittle and crack apart eventually. So instead of using filament now, I recommend employing a steel wire, typically sold in gardening shops under fencing or bailing supplies; this material performs fantastically! The Front Clip: A few quick moments of sanding down with your favorite tool can adjust how loose it gets on the box, if you so prefer. Color scheme Get artistic! Whatever hues appeal to you is fair game. For instance, I employed acrylic paints in various ways, airbrushing some and applying by brush elsewhere as well as using some special materials on top of the base colors - and even added silver effects using dry brushing for good measure
