I appreciated the design of the X-wing fighter model mentioned earlier, but found a critical component, the four laser cannons (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/KX9_laser_cannon), would be prone to fragility or outright failure. This print-friendly version of the cannon resembles the original. Trimming excess length is necessary before gluing. I produced multiple copies of this part in sets of four. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.14 (High-Quality) Infill: 20% Notes: I printed this model using White PLA with the LulzBot mini high-quality PLA preset for eSun PLA. Post-Printing: Attaching to Model: Cut to length and glue. Design Process: I designed this component as a guide while working in OpenSCAD, utilizing an imported xwing_sliced.stl file.
