X-Wing 2.0/2.5 TMG base overlays (for casual play, HotAC, FGA, etc.)

These overlays are meant to replace the cardboard inserts (small, medium, and large) for the miniature bases in the X-Wing miniatures game (originally by FFG, now by AMG), especially for co-op scenario campaigns like Heroes of the Aturi Cluster or Flight Group Alpha, where a large number of (squadrons of) enemy ships is needed, but specific stats do not need to be shown directly on the base. The design shows the important firing arcs and lines according to the 2.0/2.5 rules of the game, and has small grooves for those seeking a maximum of precision in their casual games. ;-)Print them in as many colours as you can or want, in my case I needed lots of squadrons of at least 4 ships - and another colour for the player ships.PrintingThe 3mf files (one for 0.4mm nozzles, another for 0.25mm) contain all 3 sizes, I recommend printing one of each size first to verify fit and tolerances (see also my comment below), before starting a mass production. ;-) Since the grooves are (on purpose) very small and I didn't mind the long print time, I printed these with a 0.25mm nozzle and finest detail for the topmost layers - but you can easily (and much more quickly) print these with a “usual” 0.4mm nozzle, with only slightly lesser quality for the grooves. Post-processingThe diameter of the central hole is on purpose slightly too small, to guarantee a tight fit without much movement. Depending on the tolerances of your printer (and the material you use - I used both PLA+ and silk PLA), you might have to shave off a little bit of the inner circle (easiest with a deburring tool, but a hobby knife will work as well).CustomizationI included the Fusion 360 design file, in case anybody wants to make changes or adjustments. (Note that I created the small base overlay first, in a slightly complicated and convoluted way. I then did the medium and large overlays in a more direct, smarter way - but didn't want to bother to recreate the small base. So if you want to make changes to the small base, you might be better off copying one of the other two and then changing the base design sketch.)
