UPDATE/ATTENTION! September 26, 2016 It turns out that two versions of the GWS S125-1T servo are specified in this project. One version has a 23-tooth spline and another has a 25-tooth spline. You need to find the 25-tooth version to use the coupler in this project. The 25-tooth servo has a "Made in Taiwan" label and comes with a black pulley, while the 23-tooth servo has a "Made in China" label and comes with a white pulley. The boxes are identical. One source for the correct, 25-tooth servo I found is on eBay. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/162092738102?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT UPDATE: September 5, 2016 I created a new servo plate to accommodate the GWS S125-1T 360-degree servo. You will have to change the following parts to make it fit: * Change the four stand-offs to 10mm length * Print the new GWS servo plate * Buy the Futaba 1" x 25T servo coupler, item #525142 from ServoCity found here: https://www.servocity.com/html/servo_shaft_attachments___375_.html#.V4UwjbgrKUk This project was designed to build a 2-axis, roll and tilt, brushless gimbal that also pans 180 degrees by a stabilized servo unit. It was designed on a version one Talon so some modifications might be needed to fit to later versions. I used a couple of pieces from ServoCity.com, an aluminum Hitec servo connector and bearing plate that take most of the moment load off the servo. The following components were used which could be substituted with some design modification: * Hitec HS-5245MG programmable digital servo * 525140 Actobotics Hitec Servo Coupler (ServoCity.com) * 535114 Actobotics Bearing Plate (ServoCity.com) * RCTimer GBM2804 hollow shaft gimbal motors All pieces were printed in PLA at .2mm quality and 38mm/s print speed. The dome and dome guard are optional as you can use the stock dome and just cut it to fit. The stock foam surround and mount clips and tubes are also used.
