More than just a mere replica of the original wood mount, this upgraded design takes it to the next level. I've added a second mount with a 33mm inside bolt circle, specifically tailored for HK and other smaller cross mounts - check out "MT_Motor_Mount_33-44.STL" for the latest print. I set out to create a design that not only improves upon the original mount but also ensures a perfectly set-up wood mount. This revised print features a larger center hole and wire pass through, as well as 5mm stand-offs to allow for optimal cooling air exit from the fuselage. The center hole edges are precision beveled and rounded on both sides to prevent wire chaffing. This design also includes four "ears" that securely lock it into position and two sets of cross mount holes on 34mm & 44mm bolt circles, accommodating both 22XX and 28XX motors with ease. The mount holes have "nut wells" for gluing in M3 nuts on the forward side, ensuring a rock-solid foundation. The stand-offs are cleverly angled to allow loading two sets (8) of Nyloc nuts, giving you the flexibility to switch from a 22XX to a 28XX motor at any time after assembly.
