Decided my Super Goose needed some gear. I used the tires/wheels and springs off of an e-flite Timber. The springs are not strong enough by themselves, so I added some zip-ties to limit travel. Ace hardware has a great selection of springs and wire if you would like something different. You will need some hardware. Base/arms -------------- 4- 3x30mm screws <--- Arms to base plate 2- 2x10mm screws <---springs to base plate 2- 3x35mm screws <---Axles 2- 3mm axle nuts Tail ------ 2- 3x25mm 2- 3mm nylon lock nuts Print settings with .6MM NOZZLE: You will have to use your own judgment to get the best weight to strength ration for your application. With this one I used PETg, 20% infill, 6 bottom layer, 6 top layer and 2 on wall thickness on the arms. The main gear base plate is 100% infill and all the rear parts are stock profile 20% infill.
