Inspired by MichelK's Filament Guide cr-10s and bmonnin's Captured Bearing of the Filament Guide for CR-10 Top Mount Filament Roller, this model started from scratch as a completely new build.\r\n\r\nI couldn't use Michel's design after adding a vibration damper to my X-axis motor. I liked the captured bearing concept and since I had limited space on my printer, I thought it would work better for keeping the filament routing compact.\r\n\r\nThis worked well along with the top guide until I switched to a direct drive setup.
