My friend and I have been working on this project for a little while now, and it's finally ready for you guys to try out. Many thanks are due to the co-developer and test pilot who helped make this possible! Check out this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG7zonkU-Ps Here's what you need to do: 1. Print 4 corners and a center section in your choice of colors and materials. PLA may soften if you have hot motors, but ABS works well, and PETG and Nylon are probably good choices too. 2. Cut 1/16 carbon rods to the right lengths: for a 110mm box, you'll need 4 rods that are 3.83 inches long, and 4 rods that are 2.355 inches long for the X. Let me know if you'd like me to add more sizes. 3. After dry-fitting all the pieces together, you can glue them in place. It will be easier to remove and replace a broken piece if you use a flexible glue. If you need ABS short kits, I have some available in various colors with or without pre-cut .060" carbon rod. Just let me know what you'd like, and I'll mix and match the colors for you.
