X-Shot Dart Blaster Adaptive Replacement Slide

This is a replacement pull-to-prime slide part for use in the X-Shot Skins Dread Foam Dart Blaster. The original toy requires you to grip and pull a slide to prime it, which can be difficult for a person with limited grip strength or hand dexterity. It has been improved for accessibility to allow for anyone to better use the toy. A knob was added that allows the user to pull the slide using their arm or closed fist instead of having to grab and hold the slide with their hand.The part will need to be printed with supports underneath the raised portion. Don't worry about supports affecting the surface finish - that side isn't visible and doesn't affect the functionality of the part.I printed in PLA and glued some felt on for a softer touch and multi-color look.To swap out the original top part, remove the 5 screws from the left-hand side of the slide. Carefully lift the left panel away and the original top portion of the slide can be removed. Replace it with your print and put the left panel back in place, making sure the return spring stays in place. Reinstall the screws and join the fun!.stl and .step files included in case you need to make any adjustments for a different model of blaster.
