X rail clamp for articulating LED lamp
prusaprinters
Igor's articulating LED lamp is one of the most popular 3D printable thing. I really like it. It's easy to install and good adjustable lamp to my 3D printer. I thought it would be nice to attach it directly to the x rail. I did not found such a part, so I created one. I used the original clamp, clamp bolt, and cap. I shortened the bolt, and built the thread into the clamp. Then I made a base which fits in to the x rail. It stands stable in the rail also without a screw and t-nut. But with the screw you can fix it's position. This is my first attempt with FreeCAD and 3D printing. I hope this part will be useful for others too! I appreciate every criticism. It will be more stronger. Due to this aspect I printed also the clamp horizontally (everywhere placement). Category: Household Supplies
