X-Men Quicksilver Stereobelt
thingiverse
I've had a thing about Quicksilver's audio equipment from X-Men: Days of Future Past (check out my post here: http://www.tested.com/art/movies/461631-x-men-tale-portable-tape/) and a buddy went as Quicksilver for NYC Comic Con, so I built a Stereobelt for her. These are the key parts to make your own Stereobelt, plus a printable cassette (though an actual one will work too). I have complete Stereobelt kits, Battery Pack Add-ons, movie-accurate stickers printed on polyester and 1/4" headphone plugs available at my Etsy store: https://charlesworthdynamics.etsy.com Instructions Assembly instructions are here:http://charlesworth-dynamics.com/2013/08/instructions.html These instructions mention my new Stereobelt design, but can still be used for building using these parts. Print out everything unless the file is marked otherwise (like x13). Panels and trim face the bed now, for a smooth finish on glass, etc. Flip over before printing if you want to. The only piece that needs support is the slider knob. Paint or print the parts in different colors. Everything assembles with square pins and some glue. I used a real 1/4" phone jack and RCA jacks for the back cap. It's a good idea to glue nuts inside to attach the units to a belt. There should be enough space inside for electronics if you want. A sticker sheet is included - they are not movie-accurate. If you don't have an actual cassette tape, print out the included one and glue it together. If the Hong Kong Cavaliers aren't your thing, the 'tape_bottom' can be printed twice and glued together.
With this file you will be able to print X-Men Quicksilver Stereobelt with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on X-Men Quicksilver Stereobelt.
